A tribute to the voice, the vision, and the icon that is Barbra Streisand
Internationally acclaimed cabaret star Queenie van de Zandt brings her powerhouse voice and commanding presence to Simply Streisand - a heartfelt homage to the legendary Barbra Streisand.
Through stunning renditions of Streisand’s most iconic songs, such as The Way We Were, People and Evergreen, Queenie traces the uncanny parallels between their lives, reflecting on their shared experiences of perfectionism, artistic courage and the difficulty of breaking through as a woman who speaks her mind and refuses to fit the mold of traditional beauty.
Infused with wit, vulnerability, and her signature storytelling flair, Queenie weaves personal anecdotes with reflections on Streisand’s extraordinary career, offering audiences a moving and joyous love letter to the musical star who inspired her. Celebrating the music and spirit of an icon, Simply Streisand delivers an unforgettable tribute to courage, artistry, and the beauty of breaking the mold.
